Prayer Minister Application

Becoming a prayer minister is a discernment process. Prayer ministers must be approved by the pastoral staff at City of Light.

Prerequisites:

—Be a baptized, confirmed member of City of Light.
—Read and agree to this Prayer Minister job description.
—Fill out this application. A pastor will review your application and schedule an interview with a member of clergy or pastoral staff.
—Complete a background check and abuse awareness training prior to serving. (This is free and supplied by Safety Coordinator.)
—Complete the training for new prayer ministers & apprentice with a prayer minister at least twice on a Sunday morning.
