At City of Light, we are moving because we are growing and we want to grow in our ministry to our neighbors, nations, and generations finding a new day in Jesus. In order to move well, we are inviting City of Light and friends to commit to giving $40,000 between now and the end of the year to cover one-time moving and renovation expenses in our new ministry home at Hill Elementary and our midweek ministry and storage space at 369 W. Illinois.
Leading up to Commitment Sunday, August 25, all are invited to commit to give toward our Moved to Grow goal. Our hope is that every household at City of Light would participate.
— Some might commit to give a one-time gift now or later in the year.
— Others may commit to increase their monthly giving for September - December (ex. An extra $100 a month x 4 = $400 commitment)
— Maybe someone hasn’t given regularly to City of Light, but will commit to begin giving monthly starting in September (4x a new monthly gift = x)

There are various other important opportunities for you to participate in Moved to Grow–as we move to Hill and 369 W. Illinois and have an expanding presence in a new neighborhood.
